Beth Shalom

Beth Shalom residents have had lovely entertainment at the Home, and beautiful music by Colin Penn and lgal. There was lots of dancing and singing by the staff and residents and everyone had so much fun that we all forget that we were working or living in a retirement home!

Nola Robins, our Catering Manager took about 12 residents to her Home in Drummond for a lovely Kosher tea party and for the residents to enjoy the beautiful view of the Valley of a Thousand Hills from her garden. This residents thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

On behalf of Mr Alec Vituli and his daughters Janine and Carol, I would like to express my gratitude for giving the Staff who work at the home a lovely kosher braai for Christmas. The staff in attendance enjoyed it a lot. Mr. Alec Vituli and our chef, Claude cooked the delicious food. Lots of joyous singing and celebrations followed.

The staff who worked in the frail care unit were also treated to a lovely kosher tea party arranged by Denise Blumenfelds’ children, Ivan and Janyce. This was lovely and all carers and housekeeping staff enjoyed delicious eats. A huge thank you to the family for arranging this special treat.

The Home has had a wonderful  time celebrating birthday parties over December and January. We wish everyone a hearty Mazeltov
